AdvaCAL Intensive by LaneLabs, is a bone-building calcium supplement for women 50+. AdvaCAL Intensive contains patented 1200mg of AAACa calcium and 1700 IU of Vitamin D3, that's more than 4X the vitamin D found in other calciums. . Clinical research shows that AAACa calcium has a second bone benefit: it helps modulate PTH (parathyroid hormone) secretions, which can needlessly deplete calcium from bone. As a final step, the calcium in AdvaCAL is potentiated with HAI (Heated Algal Ingredient). HAI is a patented amino acid complex from super-heated hijiki seaweed. Tiny amounts of HAI have been scientifically shown to further elevate calcium oxide & calcium hydroxide absorption. In addition, a new published study also has shown that 54 mg of genistein daily (a natural isoflavone) can help to improve hip and spine bone density in postmenopausal women. Another study revealed that a trace mineral blend (22mg) of manganese, copper and zinc offered similar bone benefits. A daily serving of AdvaCAL INTENSIVE contains 54 mg of genistein from the fruit of the Pagoda tree (not from soy) and the same 22mg trace mineral blend. An alkaline environment Scientists believe that an alkaline environment is key to improving bone density. That is why many bone formulas (including AdvaCAL Ultra) include magnesium, which is an alkaline mineral. However, AdvaCAL calcium is also highly alkaline, much more so than other calciums. Because alkalinity -not magnesium- appears to be key for bone support, and AdvaCAL calcium is already highly alkaline, magnesium is not been added in AdvaCAL INTENSIVE. Easy to swallow capsules. Gluten Free, Lactocse Free Adequate calcium with vitamin D as part of a healthful diet throughout life, along with physical activity, may reduce the risk of osteoporosis in later life. *These statements haven't been evaluated by the Food & Drug Administration.
